How to Add a Vehicle using a Mobile App
- Add a Vehicle (MVR) and Images to your Inventory;
- Add Parts and Images to an Existing Vehicle (MVR);
- Add Images to a Part already in your Inventory;
- Add a Loose Part Vehicle (LPV) and its Loose Part – with
Images
- Add a Vehicle (MVR) and Images to your Inventory;
- MVR vehicles are vehicles where the Rego or VIN is known. You can download the vehicle details, add images and add the vehicle to your inventory. You can add Parts to the Vehicle.
- LPV (Loose Part Vehicles) relate to Parts on your racks where you don’t know the VIN or Rego of the actual vehicle that a Part came from. You create a Loose Part Vehicle (LPV) record using Make, Model, Year. You can then attach a Part to that
LPV record. -
Note: You can add images from your library (that is, take photos of the car before you use the App to add the car to Inventory), or The app will open your camera and you can choose to add photos directly as you take them
- Add Parts and Images to an Existing Vehicle (MVR);
- This allows you to find a vehicle in your inventory that you want to add Parts to, then select the Part you want to add and upload the Part and one or more images
- In regard to Add Part Details (optional): You can either choose to fill this information so it will show in your inventory when the Parts are uploaded. The information includes:
– Comments
– Part Status (can be either “On Car”, “Off Car” or “Unbolted”)
– Trade, Broker and Retail Prices
– Part Grade
– Part Warehouse Location (field is only visible if Part Status is “Off Car”)

you can Skip this and tap “Confirm Part” so that you can fill in the information later on the website. Tap "Save" and then click on “Continue” to upload the Part.
- Add Images to a Part already in your Inventory;
- There are three steps – first find the vehicle the Part belongs to, then find the Part, then add the Image After login, select “Add Parts” to begin
- You will receive an “Upload Successful” confirmation. If you get a “Vehicle not found" or “Part not Found” message, the Vehicle or Part may not be in your local inventory. You can follow Steps 1 or 2 above to Add a New Vehicle, or Add a Part.
- Add a Loose Part Vehicle (LPV) and its Loose Part – with Images
- This applies to Loose Parts on your racks, where you do not know the VIN or Rego of the host vehicle. There are three steps – first add a Loose Part Vehicle, then add the Loose Part to that vehicle, then add an images (or images) for that Part. You can only add one Part to each Loose Part vehicle.
